This is a late upload about a special day we had on July 11 when our long-time friends, Pastor Rowan and Michelle Ames, visited us in Baseco. The Australian couple had just finished a few weeks of mission work in the Visayas and Mindanao, serving the mountain tribes.
Their presence brought unique inspiration and strength to our community. The morning started with a prayer session that uplifted our leaders and volunteers spiritually. The prayers and words of blessing they shared gave new energy and strength to everyone.
Another important part of their visit was sharing their vision for our church. Their messages were full of hope and inspiration, providing us with new insights and direction for our work and mission. They integrated their experiences from their mission in the Visayas and Mindanao to offer deep perspectives and lessons to us.
In the afternoon, we had a lively Bible study session led by the couple. Many members of our community were deeply touched by the teachings and stories they shared. Their engaging discussion of God’s Word brought new inspiration and blessing to all who attended.
We will never forget that day. The sharing of their experiences and knowledge was truly a blessing to us all. We are very thankful for their visit and for their unwavering love and support for our community.
As we conclude, we warmly invite everyone to visit our church, whether you are local or from overseas. There are many ways to help and participate in our activities. If you have something you’d like to do to help our community, please let us know. Your presence and support mean a lot to us.
Once again, thank you to Pastor Rowan and Michelle Ames. We look forward to your next visit and continue to pray for all of us.
Indeed, God is good, and His works continue to bless each one of us.
