Resilience and Hope: Almer Serbano's Journey of Faith

In the heart of John 14:12 North Fairview Church, a resilient spirit named Almer Sebrano shines as a beacon of unwavering faith and strength. At 40 years old, Almer has faced the challenging journey of battling a skull tumor since his diagnosis in 2018.

As the calendar turned to 2022, the impact of his illness became more visible, with Almer's eyes starting to protrude due to the severity of his condition. Undeterred, he underwent a series of tests related to his ailment, showcasing remarkable strength in the face of uncertainty.

Almer's journey has been one of adaptation, transitioning from a dedicated security guard to a tricycle driver, all while grappling with his health condition. Presently, he has had to pause his work due to the challenges posed by his condition.

In the midst of these trying circumstances, the Sebrano family sustains themselves through the support of Almer's sibling, an Overseas Filipino Worker. Beyond providing daily sustenance, this overseas family member also assists in securing the essential medications needed. As they await the results of a biopsy, the Sebrano family relies on their faith and the strength of their familial bonds.

Let us collectively lift up Almer Serbano and his entire family in prayers and positive thoughts. May they find solace in their faith, the warmth of their community, and the guiding hand of God as they navigate this challenging chapter in their lives.

In unity and solidarity, let us extend our support to the Serbano family, believing that with divine intervention and the resilience of their familial ties, they will triumph over this trial, emerging stronger and more connected than ever before.
