STUDENT SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM

We are very grateful for Jaron, partnering with us to start making children's dreams come true by sponsoring their education.

These ten children are elementary students and were selected to be part of our church's student sponsorship program, through door to door interviews with their parents.

For those who want to help and partner with us to change the lives of children, below are the details of how you can help.

• Why is student sponsorship important?

When you sponsor student in need, you encourage them with hope for the future. You help them to dream big. You give them chance to reach their goal. You empower them in their community to overcome poverty for good and help children build better lives and futures.

• How do you choose students to be sponsored?

Our team works with the poorest slum areas in Manila. We are going around, conducting door to door interviews so that we can identify students with needs. We then ask the children’s families if they want to be part of the sponsorship program and explain how sponsorship works..

• What are the benefits received by sponsored students?

Before the start of the school year, each student (elementary, high school and college) will receive the amount you sponsor for their uniforms, books, bags, shoes and anything else they need.

For high school and college students they will receive a weekly allowances while the elementary students will recieve allowances at the end of each grading and there are four (4) gradings within one school year.

Aside of financial assistance, we make sure that they join church activities and even to be part of our ministry. They have a once a week church service so that they are not only helped in their studies but also in their faith and relationship with the Lord..

• How do I know that the student I’m helping is real and my contribution gets to him/her?

Every time each grading is finished, the students get a report card where it is passed to us as proof that they are studying. We can also provide their facebook account or email so you can say hello and ask questions regarding their studies..

• I am interested. What should I do?

We’re so glad you’re considering taking this step in providing a better future for a student in need. Here are the steps to get started;

1. Send an email to baseco.mission@gmail.com, put 'STUDENT SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM' in the subject..

2. Provide your details, your full name, and where you are from and wait for our response for further details..

3. After you have chosen who you will sponsor, we’ll add you to our sponsor database and send you updates on your sponsored child via email..

4. Once you’re done, we will send you a welcome package with more information on your sponsored child and how you can make the most of your new journey..
