Freedom is defined by Merriam Webster as the quality or state of being free. But what is true freedom in Christ?

When God created man, one of the things He gave us is free will or the freedom to choose. There are many aspects of human life that freedom covers. This word has a wide meaning. Meaning not obvious, if the eyes are not opened. Like Paul in his letter to the Philippians, he wants to show them that his imprisonment is not an obstacle, but an opportunity to glorify God even more. He is proud that he is in chains for Christ or he is imprisoned because of the Lord. Why? Because he knows his status with the Lord, that no matter what happens he is free.

If you are truly in the Lord, physical trials or problems cannot affect the spiritual freedom you received from the Lord.
