WHY SPONSOR A CHILD?

Education is a Filipino dream and for many Filipinos, it is their chance to escape poverty. One of the main reasons why Filipino children are deprived of a good education is due to financial concerns and the impact of sponsorship for students is life changing.

Sponsorship's have a big impact on the lives of students, as this alleviates the burden of costs as well as providing access to a basic human right. Education is an investment as it is the path that leads towards empowerment and employment.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO SPONSOR A CHILD?

The cost of sponsorship is as follows:

Elementary school (Grade 1 to 6): AUD 100/year
High school (Grade 7 to 12): AUD 305/year
College (public): AUD 670/year

This amount covers the student's school fees and basic expenses such as uniforms, textbooks, stationery and etc.

HOW CAN I SIGN UP TO SPONSOR A CHILD?

Send an email to baseco.mission@gmail.com, put 'STUDENT SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM' in the subject..
Provide your details, your full name, and where you are from and wait for our response for further details..
After you have chosen who you will sponsor, we’ll add you to our sponsor database and send you updates on your sponsored child via email..
Once you’re done, we will send you with more information on your sponsored child and how you can make the most of your new journey..

PLEASE NOTE!!!

In compliance with Department of Social Worker and Development (DSWD), We are not allowed to post private details of the students and his/her family, such as address, contact number, facebook and email.
We strongly encourage you to sponsor a child to complete his/her entire stage of education, such as elementary school, high school or college education, rather than sponsoring a child on a per year basis. This will help the child to avoid disruptions to his/her education.
